    Summary

Apollo, one of the Twelve Olympians, God of light and music, son of Zeus, is caught between fate and possibility when he falls in love with Icarus, the son of a famous inventor banished to Crete. Apollo despises his life in Olympus, and yearns to experience the wonders of human vulnerability. But Apollo knows that his old friend Helios has not forgiven him for the tragedy and heartbreak he had once caused him, so Apollo seeks to keep his love for Icarus hidden in fear that Helios might take his revenge. Icarus, however, does not care for the games of the gods. He doesn't even know what Apollo truly is and what dangers await him if he were to find out.
