Summary
Staggering toward the counter, Charon's towering frame cast a shadow over Blaire.
“I still own your contract – I am still your employer.” Ahzrukhal sneered, but his jittery hands shook with anticipation of the promised Med-X. “I order you to protect Blaire with your life. Follow her until your mission ends. You return to me the moment she arrives safely at her destination.”
Charon choked.
“As you wish.”
Looking down at the candy-floss of her hair, he felt his gut clench.
----
**Twist on Charon's contract. Blaire does not acquire Charon's company the traditional way, but rather through a loophole. Because of this, Charon is obligated to honor his employer's deal and ensure Blaire arrives at her chosen destination. Along the way, Charon begins to remember what it feels like to make his own decisions; what it feels like to be free. He even begins to remember how intoxicating the feeling of trust is.
But Ahzrukhal had made one fatal error: he never asked her what her destination was.
Warning: SLOW-burn. LIKE, THE SLOWEST BURN.

Summary
Charon/Female Lone Wanderer.
Lone Wanderer’s name is Sunny.
Sunny- a naive 19 year old who was violently and unexpectedly forced to make her escape from Vault 101- goes on a journey through the Wasteland in the hopes of reuniting with her dad, James. She’s forced to come to terms with the fact that everything she thought she knew about her own life and the world out there has been a comfortable lie.
The story starts with Sunny in Underworld. She’d found it by chance after coming from GNR, and she’s on her way to Rivet City. She’s in over her head though, and doesn’t see how she’ll make it out of the Mall.
Coincidentally, she learns there’s a 7-foot-tall mercenary in Underworld, one whose loyalty can be bought.
Story will mostly follow main quest line, but branch out on side quests. There will be OCs, but (besides the main character) they won’t have large parts in the story. I’ll try to keep to character’s canon personalities/speech patterns.
Title is a nod to ABBA’s “Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight)”, because I think of the Lone Wanderer and Charon when I hear it.

Summary
The wasteland can be a cruel place, especially for those too weak to defend themselves.
A scared girl kidnapped by slavers, is bought by Moriarty and forced to work as a prostitute. This doesn't sit well with Gob. But 15 years of conditioned subservience, and a lifetime of cowardice are difficult things to break.
*Note; this fic doesn’t actually involve the lone wanderer. I added that tag to make this easier to search for.

Summary
Charon's good at making quick decisions. The kid is clearly underaged. Too much hair gel swept up into his hair that it looks crunchy, too much cologne assaulting his deadened sense of smell. Already drunk.
Even if he wasn’t standing in front of him, Charon would have known. The ID is a fake, like nearly every other person's in the line. It's his face in the picture, for sure, but there's no chance this baby face outlined in the popped up leather collar standing before him is 23. It's too clean for being anything other than an ID taken out at bars and liquor stores, for one. And the colors themselves are all wrong. Too bright and just a shade off.
"Butch DeLoria?"
"December 27th, 1993." The kid rattles off automatically, even in his state of intoxication. He grins like he's really pulling the wool over his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest, clearly prideful over knowing the fake date on his fake New Hampshire driver's license. Charon frowns.
(A Modern!College AU where ghouls are still ghouls and there are aspects of pre-Great War Fallout mixed in.)

I'd type 'Ghoulfucker' but there is also some fluff (fluff that would make me have to find a dentist sooner because my teeth are already bad enough as it is).

Essentially, I don't see anything for the lesser-known ghouls. I only see stuff for Charon, Gob (which is already rare), Hancock, Wiseman....soooo....LET'S WRITE FOR ALL THE GHOULS! More tags and stuff will be added as this progresses. -

Ahzrukhal makes sure a sexually frustrated smoothskin has all the pick-me-ups she needs, but there's more than enough of her to go around.
There is a modicum of plot if you squint, but no relation to the game storyline.

Summary
Water drips slow and quiet. Charon finds the Jefferson Memorial skin-crawling. And no matter how many times he ducks his head to quietly mumble, "It's not safe here," into Vaultie's ear, he never responds. Charon is too paranoid, and for once, Vaultie is blissfully serene. He runs errands for his father, back and forth between the Memorial and Rivet City. He is, once again, a son. Just a kid, his armor neatly folded and untouched in the corner of the room they all bunk in.
Charon's not sure when Vaultie forgave his father, or if he ever did.
Sequel to Dear Hearts and Gentle People. M!LW/Charon.
