Summary
Urban fantasy Nicodranas where most of the MN escaped to, after dealing with whatever trauma they have, and many of them have gotten some well needed help at Pumat Sol's trauma group therapy sessions. Caleb and Nott found Yussa, Jester, Yasha, and Caduceus in Nicodranas and everything is softer (and in firm denial of ep 26, even with recent events in ep 111). Found family is the best family, especially when you think you murdered your birth family.
Basically, my otp is Caleb Widogast and therapy, and in this essay I will...

Summary
Veth squeezed his hand gently and patted the back. “I’ve gotta pay bail first. Then we can get you out.” She whispered, forlorn, and placed a dry peck of the lips on his knuckles.
The boy still didn’t answer her. His fear was still a mask over his face, and Veth looked at it with a frown.
“I won’t hurt you, my boy.” She whispered. “I wouldn’t dream of it.”
I wanted an alternate backstory where Veth meets a Feebleminded Bren and takes him in. And since they say ”God helps those who help themselves”, I just went ahead and started making it myself. Enjoy.

Summary
Flowers, Yasha finds, are awfully personal things. Weeds and wildflowers, bouquets and blooms - they grow in all sorts of places, mean all sorts of things to all sorts of people. Toxins and tales, stories and symbolism - and memories, most of all.
She nestles these in her book, too.--
Ch1 - Caleb, Valerian“What were these like? Were they different, tamed?”
Yasha thumbed the flowers, so slowly, as to not tear off the petals. She’d asked in Celestial - it felt right to change the tone to something lighter.
Caleb blinked, studied the flowers in thought.
“Ah, no - flowers are not quite like pedigree cats - more like people. Barring the uppity rich sort, the garden and the grove have the same ilk. Just more unkept.” -

Summary
The elevator dings and they both step out onto the ninth floor. Essek lets Widogast take the lead and follows him down the hallway, taking note of the twists and turns to follow them back on his own later if need be. Widogast pulls his key out from his pocket, fumbling with the card reader a few times before the light on it flashes green.
“Well, here we are,” he says, holding the door open with a smile.
Essek inclines his head politely and steps inside of what is to be their shared space for the duration of the conference. The room is fairly well furnished, for what he’d been able to afford. There’s a small kitchenette area with a microwave, tiny fridge and freezer, and coffee maker, as well as two plush chairs set in front of a glass coffee table. The curtains are currently pulled back, revealing the city of Uthodurn beneath them, snow sparkling in the setting sun. There’s even a modestly sized desk along one wall, next to most of Essek’s belongings that had been sent ahead—his wheelchair is folded up to rest against the chest of drawers, and his other two bags are sitting on the floor next to it.
And, as becomes painfully obviously once his gaze pans farther back, there’s only one bed in the room.

Summary
Jester needs three feathers from the tail of a Phoenix. That should be a piece of cake right? Except the only Phoenix around is being held captive by a mysterious wizard and does not in the slightest live up to its name.

Summary
After Traveler Con The Mighty Nein receives a special invitation to a Ball hosted at the city of Whitestone. A mix of excitement and constant suspicious worries flow through their minds.
Never trust anything.
“Jester, this is Allura Vysoren. It has come to my attention that the Mighty Nein has helped a very dear friend of mine once more.” The message started in her head, Jester's heart beating faster, before she is able to respond another message came through. “When I had heard you had saved my dear friend’s mother, I was speechless. As a thank you you have all been invited to a ball.”
“By Lord Percival de Rolo of Whitestone and Lady Vex'ahlia, Baroness of the Third House of Whitestone and Grand Mistress of the Grey Hunt.”
“They will send you a proper invitation soon."

Summary
You cannot fall for him, he scolded himself. You are too smart for that!
And yet he had to admit that he’d come to cherish the younger wizard’s presence. He’d taken a liking to the tea he always brought – rosemary, good for concentration, prepared by Caduceus. He enjoyed the subtle sounds, the calm breathing, the occasional hum of concentration or realization, the rustling of pages flipped by someone else’s fingers. He’d picked up on a few details while stealing glances from behind his book. He now knew that Caleb wrinkled his nose when transcribing a spell, that he liked to rest his chin on his wrist, lips hidden behind his knuckles, as he looked into the distance, that he sometimes bit his lower lip while reading, that he rubbed his temples with his fingertips whenever he got frustrated. But his favourite sight by far was when after a few hours spent hunched over a desk, Caleb rose to stretch his stiffened muscles.
Essek struggles to maintain his sanity while navigating the tense political landscape and the complexities of friendship. And then there's Caleb Widogast, intriguing, endearing and potentially dangerous. Especially since he seems to be hiding something...

Summary
Caleb had never possessed any particularly strong opinions about the ocean. He was simply indifferent. The sea provided no nostalgia, no fear and little apprehension travelling with the Nein; It was an endless, easily forgotten mass in the back of his busy mind. And worrying about the sea itself was never a pressing concern- there were enemies in the water, of course, and a ship to care for, but the sea itself was something Caleb considered safe, especially with the constant ability to breathe under it.
He would find this belief to be an embarrassingly naive one.

Summary
In this space, Molly leaned into his hand, a pleased smile curling over his lips. He pressed a kiss to Caleb’s palm, his mouth a smoldering ember against his skin, and Caleb almost pulled back. Almost, but didn’t.
In this space, Molly sat up and Caleb scooted closer, and they both leaned in. Caleb’s fingers slid through the messy waves of Molly’s hair in an unspoken question and Molly nodded his answer. He heard Molly’s breath hitch in his throat when he leaned forward and pressed their lips together.
In this space, there were no orders, no contracts to fulfill, no revenge to be taken, no mysterious and shadowed past to bring into the purifying burn of the light of day. They had all the time in the world. Caleb slid from his perch on the log to lay beside Molly in his bedroll, and they tangled together with lazy, unhurried kisses and exploratory touches.
In this space, it was always just the break of dawn. In this space, it was always soft. In this space, it was always just the two of them.
