She was the Inquisitor, he couldn’t possibly let himself fall for her. She was Dalish, she would never be able to love a trickster wolf, not after what they had told her. But he had let himself stray too far, and she had taken him into her heart without question. Pheris Lavellan had no idea just how much she had fallen for Pride.

As far as the rest of the world is concerned, Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin is a registered Dominant. It's on his driver's licence. It's on his National Insurance card. Hell, it's even on his bloomin' GCSE certificates. And the fact that it's all a load of bollocks is a secret Eggsy had intended to take to his grave.
Course, he hadn't been expectin' a bloody sub-drop to sweep in and knock him on his arse in the wake of the Valentine Massacre. Turns out grief and adrenaline ain't a good combination.

I'm positive I've read this already but I hadn't bookmarked it, and I'm pretty sure I know why...
For a start, the D/S dynamic has a strong biological basis, which I can sometimes go for and sometimes just can't. In this case, it alters the characterization so much that sometimes they (Eggsy in particular of course) are written spot on, and sometimes they're shamelessly OOC. The actions fit within the basis of the AU, but the AU forces a kind of drastic personality shift that I'm not 100% sold on. [In my opinion, if this were written with the D/S play being more of a conscious decision rather than a biological imperative, the character interactions could come off as more genuine and true to canon... but maybe that's just me.]
Regardless, the writing is excellent and I do find myself enjoying the read quite a bit, so I'm remedying my prior error. And quite frankly, I've bookmarked a lot worse
