The familiar low, gravelly voice froze Selina to her spot. It had been in her ear a year ago at the 44 Below club, had exchanged heated insults with her on top of a skyscraper, and had told her to take care of herself with a regretful tenderness the night she left Gotham.
That voice did not belong to Bruce Wayne.
AKA. Selina breaks into Wayne Manor with the intention of robbing Bruce Wayne blind, not saving his life. Alfred makes thank-you tea.

Harley is tired, everyday is seemingly the same. The days blend into one another, and Joker’s insults and slaps all just feel the same. Bruce Wayne is single, and alone. Letting the loneliness take him over, he finds that Harley has reformed. Gotten away from Joker, and trying to build from the ground up.
He finds comfort within her, but he hates her. Harley too; hates the Bat. She holds resent over him, for making the Joker the way he is. Maybe he would’ve loved her, if it wasn’t for him.
Somehow, the Bat crosses path with the abused moth. Soon they find, they’re not so different.

Far past the clearing, when you went through the last stretch of field and forest, begun an opening to a big city. Dull and dreary in nature, Gotham was well known for being possibly one of the shittest places on earth. The architecture was old and tall, gargoyles were spotted around the city as frequent as Christmas lights. Even the grand sandstone buildings seemed to come straight from gothic horror literature. Not to mention how the place was quite literally cursed with crime. How any of the residents called the place home, was beyond any God's knowledge.

Bruce is done. What on earth possessed him to adopt and take in 4 traumatized kids without getting them even a bit of therapy, is beyond him. Well, it's never too late for some good old fashion therapy. That is if no one kills each other first.

It's been six months since Bruce's actions led to the death of Superman. Six months, two weeks, four days. He could count it to the hour. He's handling it as well as could be expected when he finds himself in a Batcave that is unfamiliar to him, a world that is unfamiliar to him. Superman is still alive, Dick is still talking to him. The Justice League has been around for years, not months. And there is another Batman, who wants more answers than Bruce is willing to give.
When Batman v Superman!Bruce ends up in the comics world, he'll have to navigate another version of himself, his family and the man he tried to kill if he wants to get home.
