Alec Lightwood has a lot going for him. He owns a bookstore that's connected to his brother's cafe, he's got an amazing family that loves and supports him, and he's got a very successful night career with camming where he might be crushing on one of his watchers. The twist? Alec's also an omega who was born noseblind in a world where everyone relies on smell to find their mate.
Jace Lightwood is having a knock-down drag out with life. Between running a cafe that's always busy from customers that frequent his brother's conjoined bookshop and all of his family and friends worrying about him, he has a lot going on. As an omega on the cusp of being forced to come off suppressants and scent-blockers for the first time in years, he's dreading what the turn-out will bring. Relief comes in the form of Simon Lewis, an awkward and bumbling disaster who smells like pure heaven, and might just be the alpha to help Jace get his life together. The twist? Simon's not what he seems, and Jace isn't prepared for the aftermath of finding out.
This tale follows the Lightwood brothers as they finally find love, then lose love, before stubbornly holding onto love with all their might.
He was walking back to his loft, enjoying the evening sights and sounds of the familiar streets, when something stopped him short. Right in front of the cathedral stood a lonely and oddly stiff-looking figure all dressed in white. Glamoured to the world but evident to Magnus’ eye, his beautiful white wings stood out against the setting sun and the first falling leaves. 'An angel,' he thought with a thrill. 'Could be fun.' He hadn't seen one in a while, not that he made a habit of purposefully going after them, of course, but… it seemed fateful, did it not? To so casually bump into one standing near his home. And it was always tempting to ruffle their feathers when Magnus needed a distraction from the inevitability of his own existence.
Alec owns a bookstore. Magnus needs to buy some books. There would be absolutely nothing wrong if not for the fact that Magnus is specifically looking for books about rutting, and if he weren't the most beautiful alpha that Alec has ever seen.
Magnus takes a minute to look at the exterior of the shop and likes what he sees. It’s October and the window display has autumn-themed cookbooks out intermingled with Halloween decorations, including painted pumpkins and a witch's hat. It’s cute, cheerful yet practical, with a touch of casual elegance.
The door is black with a frosted glass window. Etched into glass is the name of the store.

Once our main couple gets together, we hope for the immediate happy ending, right?
But life is not like that sometimes and things get messy and complicated. What happens once you get to be with the person you love and things... fall apart anyway?
[See, this will be fun!]
"Song of Despair" is the sequel to "Every day you play". Meaning, it will be pain, but also some smut and books/quotes everywhere. Again, you better like Neruda.

Magnus Bane is a costume designer a little unhappy with his life. He only thinks about work, his top priority.
That is about to change when he meets bookstore owner Alec Lightwood. Magnus doesn't know yet, but Alec has a superpower. That could change his life for the best if he allows that to happen.
A story full of quote books and poetry (you better like Neruda, trust me). Also, with the special participation of a Justin Timberlake's song.
"– Chcę złożyć skargę – powiedział powoli i z coraz większym uśmiechem – że godzinę temu nie zostałem obsłużony przez najprzystojniejszego kasjera, jakiego kiedykolwiek widziałem.
Alec spuścił wzrok na komputer.
– Tak, jasne, nie było mnie... – Nagle dotarło do niego znaczenie tych słów i gwałtownie poderwał głowę do góry. – Słucham?
– Powiedziałem, że...
– Słyszałem – przerwał mu z szeroko otwartymi oczami. – Ale... Że co?"
