Summary

When Emma returns from the Wish Realm, Killian has been anxious about her fate. He has a nightmare that he thinks is the key to save her. The key happens to be his mother & his sister, unbeknownst to him. Gathering courage to start a future and a family with Emma is an important journey Killian is going on, but first he needs to forgive his sins and to not be afraid of his own fate.
This story will share Killian's past and his fears, the battle for Emma's future, and the missing pieces of Killian's family tree.

All of the stories in this series have to follow two self-imposed rules: All must be deleted scenes, and all must be based on a needtobreathe song. Because needtobreathe is amazing and half their songs make me think of this OTP anyway. No need to be familiar with these songs to enjoy the stories, however. Lyrics included.
