Summary
Carl would be remembered as the poor little victim of Negan’s manipulation. Poor little Carl Grimes, too innocent to understand what Negan had done to him. Carl Grimes who was too weak and stupid to see what was happening, to stop it from happening.
“I’m gonna make it one nice, hard swing, try to do it in one, because I like him. I just want you to put that in your brain and roll it around for a minute,” Negan said lowly. “I’m gonna kill Carl, and then, Lucille here, she’s gonna take your hands.”
“You can do it right in front of me.” Carl turned to look at his dad, shocked. “You can take my hands. I told you already— I’m gonna kill you. All of you. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow…but nothing is gonna change that- nothing. You’re all already dead.”
Carl’s chest twisted painfully. His dad wasn’t even trying to save him, and Negan sure as fuck didn’t care about him. Never fucking had apparently. He looked over to Beth again who looked pissed as fuck at Rick, like she was trying to burn holes into his head.

Summary
“You have to run, Carl,” Rick said roughly, tears spilling down his cheeks. “Run away, run away, get out of here before it gets you. It’ll get everyone.”
“What will?!” Carl shrieked in sheer terror. “What is it?!”
“Blue Death,” Rick said again before dissolving into a fit of coughs, barely able to take a full breath. “’S comin’.”

Summary
It's been 4 years since Carl Grimes died, and I'm still not over it. So, I signed up for Ao3, and decided to make this.
-Alternate Hilltop reaction to Carl Grimes Death
-If Carl made it to Hilltop and died surrounded by Carol, Maggie, Enid, Rick, Michonne, and Daryl
-If Carl was bitten on his arm, and was brought to Hilltop to cut it off to save his life
-If Carl was immune
-If Carl didn't get bit, and had to run Alexandria when Rick 'died' and Michonne left
-If Carl saved others when saving Sidiq, and they show up at hilltop months after Carl's deathSo pretty much, if you can't get over Carl's death I have a whole bunch of oneshots here that appeal to a whole bunch of different imaginations and opinions.

Summary
"Are you just dumb or are you trying to get yourself killed!?”
Both, Carl wants to tell Beth. Definitely both.
***
Carls attempt on Negans life brings to light his self-sacrificial, and sometimes almost suicidal tendencies to those around him- particularly Beth, who has always known him best. Over the years he never really shakes them, nor the man he had once been trying to convince himself so hard that he wanted to kill.

Summary
He hesitated, giving token resistance before caving under Maggie’s iron stare. “A summer camp!” Rick cried, throwing his hands up. “I can’t tell you how it’s guarded but trust me when I say it is.”
Carl grimaced as a look of incredulousness swept across the room. Rick noticed, too. “Fine, I’ll just take Carl and go alone, if you don’t trust me.”
Maggie opened her mouth to protest but snapped it shut with a look of surprise. “It wouldn’t happen to be on Long Island, would it?”
TWD meets their godly parents, drama ensues.

Set during 5.10 "Them". What if Beth lived through the Grady exchange due to Carol's intervention and was on the road with the rest of the group afterwards? Just a little Beth insert into canon that I couldn't live without.
Prequel to Blameworthiness. Part of my Blameworthiness AU series, but can be enjoyed separately from that :)

Summary
He blurts the words out “I’m not a boy.”
And he stops.
Because somehow he has unconsciously said something that makes so much sense, that he had been working to put into words for so long.
He is not a boy.
Huh.
Beth looks confused to the point that she may combust.
“What do you mean?”
“I- I think I- I don’t know. I don’t want to be a boy. Don’t think I ever have. But I am one? Or I’m not? I don’t know? I just know I hate it when I’m called one. But I don’t know-“
Beth cuts off his rambling with a question that throws Carl back, “Do you want to be a girl?”
Carl doesn’t even think when he answers “More than anything.”

Summary
He hasn't felt that weak since the farm, since before he fired the bullet that had torn apart Shane’s reanimated skull. And he finds himself wondering if it was because he’d gone soft during all those months Dad had forced him to plant vegetables and feed pigs slop.
The kid from six months ago who’d gunned down a teenager without a moment’s hesitation probably wouldn’t have been that useless.
-----
On the journey from Terminus to Alexandria, Carl struggles with PTSD and coming to terms with the person he is becoming.
