4 Works in Barbara Kean & Leslie Thompkins
"Do you remember what you did to Gordon when he investigated Kristen Kringle's disappearance?"
Ed nodded; he would never forget his first steps on the way to becoming the Riddler.
"I want you to do something similar to me this time."
"You want me to frame you for a murder?" Even saying that out loud seemed preposterous.
"Yes. And after today I know just the right pawn to remove from our game."
An entirely canon-compliant version of what happened to Penguin and Riddler during the six months after the fight with Bane, explaining what led to their imprisonment and how they spent ten years before the Batman arrived.
Important note: I refuse to believe that such a powerful super-villains just sat still for a decade and did nothing to escape or turn the incarceration into an advantage. Gotham didn't pause for ten years waiting for Bruce Wayne, and I'd like to describe some scenes that I suppose could've happened during that time.
Lee’s thoughts about offering a pregnant Barbara what medical care she can.
Barbara and Tabitha struggle to navigate their changed relationship and professional partnership. Lee struggles to help The Narrows in the aftermath of the Tetch Virus.
All three women discover more about themselves and each other as they make their mark in Gotham's underworld.
This fic takes place during the earlier part of season 4/4a.
Y'all know the drill. I'm not associated with Gotham or FOX. I'm just a sick fan attempting to write what I'd like to see on the show. Please don't sue me. I have no money.
Barbara looks for a change; trying to forget a past lover she falls yet again far too easily.
Lee just wants to help everyone. She's too hard on herself and too easy on everyone else.
Ed starts to slowly find himself, lose Lee. He doesn't know what horrifies him more.
Grundy has a big storm coming.
The blond gulps down and stops Lee from standing up with a hand in the air. Talks in what would be her truthful voice. Or I'll-cut-the-crap voice.
"Okay. Also, you're gaining power around here and I like to align myself with influential leaders."
Penguin comes to mind.
"Only to take them down later."
"No, not only. And I'm not really dying to have the Narrows, you know." It's only half an insult so Lee narrows her eyes but stays in her seat.
