Hours later, they return to the scene of the crime in order to dispose of the corpse only to discover that it has gone missing. Summary
September 1781. A young soldier, Timothy “Dum Dum” Dugan, reaches Philadelphia to deliver terrible news to Captain Steve Rogers and General Washington.
The British pinned down the southern Continental Army under Nathanael Greene at Yorktown and the situation is dire. Major James “Bucky” Barnes was captured after leading a daring escape from the fort through British lines.
Captain Rogers can’t sit still and let the Revolution or his dearest friend in the world falter, and takes up a star-spangled shield against General Washington’s direct orders.
This is a tale of Captain America’s origins entwined with the founding of a new nation, and story of love and devotion overcoming the odds.

Summary
There was a brief mix of anxiety and hope curling in his stomach, the prospect of having the Head of Intelligence dismantled and injured in their territory ripening the potential for exposing some much needed information, especially that regarding Higday. The only challenge would be locating the man before he reached neutral territory down south, or worse, have stray Patriots pluck him up and leave the entirety of the raid useless.

Summary
I am not even going to try to concoct a reason how this happened, but the Scoobies find themselves in the American Revolution during the Siege of Charleston 1779, I'll leave that for 'fanfic fodder'.
The historical characters: Charles Cornwallis, Charles O'Hara, Col. Banastre Tarleton are as consistant with their real personalities as I can make them at the time. (Due to some of Tarleton's statements he's made out to be a carnal butcher,,, not liked by his collegues or superiors).
This was somewhat inspired by: Sleepy Hollow, and The Patriot, the idea is that the Scoobies watched The Patriot in the theatre the night before and they woke up in the Siege of Charleston.
The monsters in this story are human monsters- not vampires or demons.
