Rich playboy Anthony Crowley has finally broken the last straw. He's been disowned by his grandmother, and turned away by his family. With no money and no where to go, he heads to the old family cabin to lay low until it all blows over.
Romance writer A.Z. Fell has been given use of her publisher's cabin to get away from the city and work on her newest book-her first erotica.
Neither expected the other to be there, but there they both were. And AZ finds that Crowley's vast knowledge of sex may just make up for her own lacking knowledge when it comes to writing her book.

Bubbles blew and his brother sniffed. Aziraphale knew it wasn’t his nose as his hand gripped at the bench. Instinct told him to reach for it.
He held back.
“...I’m gay.” Gabriel Fell, district attorney of New York City, possibly future mayoral candidate murmured to the wind and the leaves, “...I am gay or bisexual or whatever but the person who I love is-is them. And they have parts. And I am gay. And a hypocrite. And gay. And-”
In an alternate reality at least one Gabriel and one Aziraphale bury the hatchet. The jury is still out on all the others.
Also if you think Ineffable Husbands would support Ineffable Bureaucracy I respectfully (and heart-broken-ly) disagree.

This story begins in a garden. Stories about them always begin with a garden and an apple.
Once Upon a Time, Aziraphale was a princess and Crowley was the charming thief that stole her heart and some apples.

"Dinner that night goes alright. Crowley’s mom has obviously talked to his dad because he’s not looking at him like he’s going to go overdose on heroin if they take their eyes off him for more than a few seconds and his little sister Anathema chatters on about what she’s learning about whales in her science class. So, everything is fine. He goes to bed feeling better that night. Then he wakes up to tapping on his window and promptly freaks the fuck out...Aziraphale is waking him up by rapping on his window at, he checks his clock, four in the morning? If Zira's parents find out he’s dead. Crowley smiles."
