Summary
When the other Avengers get busy and leave Clint and Tony alone in the tower, the two actually follow a suggestion from Steve and do a bit of training. Sadly, as with anything involving Clint, the training doesn't fully go as planned. Clint has now been de-aged to a small child! And what's worse, the thing that did it to him was untested for a normal person and unstable. Unsure what would happen next and not ready for the many challenges ahead, Tony and Clint do their best to stumble along until everything gets fully solved.

His main problem is, Clint doesn’t really do Christmas.
Growing up, those days were always filled with either fear and arguments, heartbreak or loneliness. He never really got into the habit of celebrating as an adult, either. While at SHIELD, he mostly volunteered the holidays to work, or later, spent them watching cheesy movies and eating too much food with Phil and Natasha, but none of it was ever traditional. It was enough for them, though.But now, Phil is dead, which still hurts enough to leave him breathless, but Natasha and him have found a new life, a new family with the Avengers.

“If you call down lightning and anger the already angry trees,” Tony cautioned angrily from up in the sky. “I will personally burn all of your poptarts.”
Thor gasped dramatically, Hulk roared in agreement, and Natasha was her usual, silent and stealthy self.
“O’ Christmas tree, o’ Christmas tree,” Clint sang softly to himself as the trees stalked forward, stomping and crunching long vacant cars. The good news was that, so far, the giant evergreen trees weren’t moving fast but, instead, taking their time lumbering through the city.
“Barton,” Phil laughed softly from beside him on the perch Clint had found for them earlier. Phil wasn’t exactly a sniper, but he was running point on the mission, binoculars held up to his dark eyes and lips quirking into a small smile. At least he would agree with Clint that the entire situation was rather ridiculous. Sentient trees. What were they, caught in a Batman comic or something? “You sang that completely wrong.”
