Summary
As the universe enters a strained sort of stalemate under the guise of a binding treaty, the SEED gang attempts to figure out what their lives are without war. For some, it's following military aspirations, for others it's forgetting the military altogether, but one thing is certain, the world is far too interesting to warrant a time skip between Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny. Lexi and Namarra begin researching about their Berserker halves while trying to help Athrun navigate international incidents in order to support Cagalli who is trying to regain Orb's trust and keep her father's legacy as Chief Representative. At the same time, Heine is working diligently under Gilbert Durandal and Yzak is learning what it's like to navigate ZAFT high command as Dearka searches for his own purpose in peace time. Kira and Lacus have taken a liking to the quiet life, choosing to help Reverend Malchio at an orphanage near Orb and the others are just looking to enjoy peace.
This book also explores the pasts of its main pairs of siblings: Namarra and Kai, Lexi and Lathan, and Cagalli and Kira.
