Winn is not sure how to deal with the fact this woman exists. She looks like someone blended the cutest parts of the Disney princesses – at least if Disney had the balls to have black girls be princesses – and put them through puberty.
Her eyes are big and golden, drawing his focus up to her ebony face even though she’s a foot taller than he is. She’s long-limbed and those acid-washed jeans hang around her hips like they're glad for the invite. Hard to say if she wore the shirt to show off her abs or her breasts. The Standard Kalex Fic where Alex grows up protecting Kara, Kara grows up thinking the world of Alex, and they're exactly the sisters they're supposed to be (except they're not and they're gonna pine over each other for like eight years)--with an ABO twist.
Kara and Alex have finally managed to reach a place where they can both pretend they're happy with the roles they're supposed to occupy in each other's lives--until Alex goes into heat.
Y'know how you have that one fic (or genre or trope or whatever) that you swear you're never going to write? Yeah. This is that one.
Astra’s up late when a phone call she wasn’t expecting comes in.
