Bam couldn't remember much about his life beyond two years ago, when he had been taken in by the Fourth Squadron and the Jahad Empire. He could remember the back of a girl with blonde hair. He could remember the handsome smirk of a boy, the bottom half of this face framed with silvery blue hair that was distinctive of a Khun's. He could remember this Khun's warm embrace.
Only, now it was King Jahad's arms that embraced him, a hand carding through his hair as King Jahad held him like he was something to be treasured.
'King Jahad's most precious treasure', that was what Squadron Commander Kallavan called him.
Bam wasn't sure if he liked that.

Bam made his choice. Since then, he has grown and learned so much more about himself and his friends. Bam was slowly healing from his time with FUG, and he had finally put his relationship with Rachel behind him. Bam had grown up, and he was ready to finally enjoy his climb with his friends. If only FUG and the Jahad Empire felt the same way.
After coming upon two 'homeless dogs', Bam unknowingly involved himself in a secret coup to overthrow a FUG Slayer. But not just any FUG Slayer: Baylord Yama, the King of the Dogs. Bam had no plans to return to FUG, but the two Regulars he happened to save need help, and Bam wasn't about to refuse. Now he had to somehow figure out who wanted to remove Yama as a Slayer, why they should be stopped, and what they want from him. But FUG wasn't the only one up to something. The Jahad Empire had stirred up conflict with the Three Orders. They weren't about to leave it unattended.

Or, NHS is a little harder for Bam to bear than he's expecting, Khun is feral and Team Isu has to confront reality. And they all end up dealing with the effects of that.Bam freezes up, tense in a ball. Then he makes a strangled noise and says, "No."
Khun blinks, and at this point, he's close enough to touch Bam. "No?"
Bam shakes his head, insistently, and Khun can see the genuine fear in the clench of his hands on the mattress of the bed. "Not… I'm not Bam. I'm not, I, he's dead. He's dead, he's dead."
Khun almost sees red. Almost. What did Endorsi fucking do to him? "You're not dead," he says gently. "You're here. We're on the thirty-ninth floor. At the Name Hunt Station."
Bam shakes his head again, close to hyperventilating once more. "No." He says it with more fervor. "No, I promise he's dead. I promise. So don't. Don't. Don't kill. Don't."
Don't kill my friends, is what Khun hears and for a moment he thinks he could kill a princess of Jahad.
