It changed every time he told the story, but most often people wanted to use that gift so they started attacking and manipulating them. The other twin saw this and cut off his own hair, not letting it grow out to be longer.”
He paused for a moment, as if trying to remember the rest of the story. It was clear that he had wanted to say something else, mouth slightly agape, but for whatever reason, he changed his mind, looking up at the stars again.
So, Techno had followed in his example, rolling his head back to the sky. “That’s sad.”
“Yeah.”

In his nearly 25 years of living, Castiel has never left his room - born and raised in King Michael’s palace, locked in his tower with a barred window, told that he needs to keep himself and his odd ability away from the outside world - and he’s fine with it. However, a week before his birthday a stranger with green eyes and a dark horse breaks into his room at night, declares he’s rescuing Castiel, and whisks him away in a search for a myth of a flower that could cure all.
Castiel follows him, adamant that when they find it, he’ll be returned to his tower, where he should always be - but the more time he spends with the mysterious Dean, the more he wonders if the way he views the world is wrong, and if everything he’s ever been told could be a lie.
Meanwhile Dean Winchester needs to find a cure for his little brother, and if that means he needs to threaten, hurt, or kill the obstacles in his way, he will. That is, until he meets Castiel - who’s connection to the flower he’s looking for may run deeper than he thought.

Tommy’s back was up against the wall as he tightly gripped onto his makeshift weapon, at least this was a rush he supposed but this wasn’t quite what he meant when he’d asked to be taken to the Arctic Empire.
“When I said I wanted to visit the Empire I didn’t mean for you to get the authorities to take us!” The teenager scowled, sure he was all for a little chaos but for the first day outside of his tower this was a little far, “Who even are these people?”
“They don’t really like me very much,” The thief shrugged, his eyes searching around the ravine for any method of escape that he could find. Wasn’t exactly easy with the other teenager yelling in his ear.
“And who are they?” Tommy yelped as yet another group of people clambered through the opening, he was debating in the back of his mind how good of an idea tossing the frying pan at their head would be.
“Okay for the sake of ease let's just assume everyone in here doesn't like me.”
