4 Works in Ada Hall
"In every ending there lies a beginning."
Merging details from the book and film, I attempt to fill in some of the blanks or ''fade-in fade-out'' moments occurring before and after certain chapters/scenes, as my mad mind would like to imagine them. Not a novel idea, but this is an exploratory endeavor. Written in third person, leaning mostly towards Alec's POV. I am trying my damnedest to remain faithful, but I can't resist poetic liberty, so I may stray from canon. Though some parts are far from explicit, the story will eventually progress there. I so love this pair and I hope it shows. If I have the grit, hopefully this will lead up to a post-boathouse/aftermath story.
Snippets from the after-canon years in which Maurice and Alec disagree about reaching out to one's family.

Denied a look at the telegram addressed to Maurice, Kitty investigates his room.
