Summary
He Tian has never been one to settle. He could never commit, never remain idle for even a moment. But at the age of 25 he realizes how tired he really is of his lifestyle and how distracting himself in every way possible does nothing to remedy his aching loneliness. He wants stability but really doesn't know how to achieve it. Until his brother suggests that he has an arranged marriage. Suddenly he has hope that this might be able to slow him down.
Guan Shan has been working consistently ever since he left college. But his financial situation only gets more difficult with his mother unable to work. Guan Shan spreads himself thin over a multitude of jobs, the few that he can find as an omega, to support the household. In the most burnt-out state of his entire life, he gets an offer to enter an arranged marriage with the second heir of a massive company. In that moment of desperation, he agrees.
Both He Tian and Guan Shan find themselves navigating the relationship with no grace or experience. They slowly and cautiously learn to become grateful for the other person in their life.

Made this because I have headcanons about how the relationship between Mo and Xi will be after the other two disappear (it's only canon that Jian Yi will disappear, but it seems heavily implied that He Tian might depart at some point as well.) I think they genuinely like each other (in a bro way) in the Manhua. Add in a dash of angst and some feelings and you've got yourself some delicious fing fanfiction.

I have been searching for a story that explores what might have happened during the time skip when He Tian and Jian Yi disappear. This is going to focus on Mo; how he dealt with He Tian's abrupt disappearance, and how the two of them are going to deal with He Tian's equally abrupt return.
With the way the cannon story is going, I can't imagine She Li is going to give up on Mo so easily. Without He Tian around, would Little Mo fall back into the snake's grip? The answer is yes.
After He Tian first comes back, he finds out that Mo and She Li are... together!? But, is everything as it seems?
There's going to be a lot of self destructive behavior. Oh, and angst. Lots of angst. I am planning to end it on a good note though, if you stick with it.

He Tian takes Mo’s hand between his own. Mo is about to complain (…the fuck is he doing?) but He Tian’s thumb brush over Mo’s knuckles. Mo freezes.
Mo’s hands are covered in little scratches, from when he was digging for He Tian. That’s what He Tian is looking at. Some of the cuts had bled, some just stung. Nothing deep. Mo’s hands are now a mess of dried blood and dirt and sensitive skin.
“…what are you doing?” he asks, calmer than he would have a second ago.
