Katsuki Bakugou hasn't been okay in awhile. But he's trying. It'd help if one of his boyfriends didn't eat Kit Kats like a monster. Or if a certain group of villains would take a hint and stop trying to kidnap him into joining their boy band. Somehow the first thing still bothered him more.

Rather than the police station, Katsuki's friends bring him to a hospital after rescuing him from the villains. His wounds were minor, but it didn't make having them treated any less important. As it would so happen, Best Jeanist was also brought to this hospital after the attack.
Sometimes, small choices have a big impact on how a story plays out.
Aka: Best Jeanist Acquires A Son. Featuring: Serious talks regarding abuse and emotional scars, one adult finally stepping the hell up and trying to help Katsuki, me going off about the sports festival because I'm still not over it, pro-heros having a group chat, and Katsuki finally getting a chance to learn how to be good.

Katsuki was quite possibly the most stubborn child to ever walk the planet earth. While his unwavering nature could cause issues, it had also saved his life several times. His determination was boundless when well directed, driving him to reach greater and greater heights.
Problem was, this wasn’t a height Katsuki wanted to reach. He'd gotten up here accidentally and he didn’t know how to get down. Or if he even should get down.
In which Katsuki’s kidnapping goes ever so slightly differently. His classmates don’t show up to help him escape, All-Might is caught up in fighting Nomu and as a result takes longer to reach Katsuki after All for One teleported him away. Little things add up, and Katsuki's path as a hero is forever altered, for better or for worse.

Bakugou Katsuki is not weak. He's strong. Or at least, that's what he tells others. And himself.
He wears his aggression like armor, hiding the truth of how he feels. But even the strongest armor can start to chip away and warp, if enough pressure is applied. So when the facade begins to crack, how is Katsuki supposed to deal with it?
The answer is; badly.
But maybe he has more friends than he thinks, and they just might care a whole lot more than Katsuki realizes.
