Summary
Guy's childhood, every awful, bloody piece. Exploring the trauma behind one of the most damaged characters of Innocents Shounen Juujigun, and filling in the pieces of what made him who he is. Written out of love for a character that makes my heart hurt. I expect I'll cry quite a few times while working on this.
Warnings abound, and will be updated frequently. This story is about the life of a medieval bandit child, and nothing is going to be nice. I can't say for certain what all will happen, but it's not going to be pretty.

Summary
In Etienne’s arms, Isabelle finds her voice. No one has ever, ever looked at her with so much love. Etienne clings, small and thin and fragile, and the love welling up in Isabelle’s chest spills over like blood.
“I love you,” are the first words to leave her lips since she was a child. Her voice sounds strange to her own ears; too low, too soft. But Etienne’s eyes, blue as the sky, go wide and watery. His face is buried in her chest a second later, soaking her dress with tears.
Etienne begs for her to never leave, and Isabelle swears in her heart that she could never bear to break his.
