Summary
Cassim and Iago enter Muskar looking for information, and possibly gold of they can get their hands on it. Instead, they find the intelligent and daring Zumurrud being sold as a slave, and earn her friendship by freeing her. It soon becomes clear, though, that there are shadows in her past as well as in his, and they are still reaching out to try to reclaim her.
