Advice for the Lovelorn
“I don’t like you,” Harry tells him as they settle down with overpriced varietal coffees.
“I don’t care,” Sherlock replies. “I’m in love with John.”
Not part of the 'Recovery Position' Universe. Stands alone, late second series.
- Part 1 of Advice for the Lovelorn
Lestrade thinks John should be aware. John would really, really rather not be.
Not part of the Recovery Position universe, unless you want it to be. Not much reason why not, really.
Somewhat of a sequel to Advice for the Lovelorn; followed by Unwrapping, http://archiveofourown.org/works/1520948
- Part 2 of Advice for the Lovelorn
Six months after the fall, John and Harry celebrate Christmas, and Harry gives John a gift from the dead.
This story will make more sense if you have read Advice for the Lovelorn, and Sand. Though both characters refer to conversations for which the other was not present, so you can possibly get by.
You don't need to have read Recovery Position (to which this series of stories and the one I hope that will eventually include them is an AU); the references are, I hope, self-explanatory. If you're desperate, the conversation referred to that John has with Mycroft is in Chapter 14, and the conversation with Lestrade is in Chapter 16 in Recovery Position.
