Summary
Homo sapiens domesticus
Humans (Homo sapiens domesticus) are short-lived primates of the family Hominidae, and the only existant species of the genus Homo. They originated in Africa, and spread to other continents of planet Earth within a megavorn. While fractious and warlike in their wild state, they are easily trained to a useful function.Series

Homo sapiens domesticus: selecting.
Classification among human stock is typically determined before shipping. The highest grade of humans should be roughly a quarter vorn old, in good general health, and thoroughly trained to service. Presold humans are typically marked with the glyph of their patron Tower; other humans are usually auctioned. [Link to auction dates and times in your sector.]--

Summary
Homo sapiens domesticus: care and feeding
Like any organics, Homo sapiens domesticus specimens require specialized fuel, atmosphere, and temperature ranges; however they are among the easiest organics to maintain on Cybertron. Fuel cubes are available at nominal cost. Unadulterated dihydrogen oxide must always be provided in liquid phase, but a proper enclosure is designed to purify and recycle approximately 97 percent of this water. Humans may be kept in groups of three or more; attempting to maintain a single human by itself is not recommended.

Perceptor glanced at the fuel he had been absently swirling in his cube, and had yet to even sip. "You have studied philosophy, Shockwave. Tell me what makes a person sentient."

Homo sapiens domesticus: Services
A properly-trained human is capable of a number of useful functions. For example, most have been taught to retrieve items upon command. By far, however, the most popular use of humans is in specialty detailing, where their function commands a high price. Every city now has at least one detailing center which provides this service; rates typically range between several hundred and several thousand credits, at the time of this report. Please remember to book at least four joors for a human detailing. Neither driving nor heavy lifting immediately afterwards are advised.Series

Homo Sapiens domesticus: Intervention
Wherefore the dominant species has exhibited class five intelligence, and wherefore the species has been justly and legally found to evidence eight of the eleven TradeWind quota for peril of extinction, the consolidated Towers beg permission to intervene for the administration of relief and aid.... Under section 80239 of the Trade with Organic Species Act, said aid will be negotiated with the recognized governing authorities of each region as legal trade, fully and equitably compensating for the dominant species’ intellectual and physical disadvantages. Each City-State named in the petition will therefore extend the following portion of aid as a charitable contribution....

Summary
Homo Sapiens domesticus: Confluence
Humans are typically obedient when well-trained. They are capable of distinguishing between mecha, and may develop favorites or preferences. When a human is intended for communal use, care must be taken lest it imprint on a particular mech or mecha to the exclusion of others.
Additionally, some humans develop strong dislikes. For example, many refuse to service non-bipedal mecha, such as symbionts with technimal frameclasses.

Summary
Homo sapiens domesticus: Habitation
On their homeworld, humans are accustomed to living in covered cubes, which they construct themselves, using local flora, fauna, and minerals. Typically these habitation cubes measure between two and four mechanometers on a side. Though some humans assemble very large structures, the smaller size is suitable for all of them. Humans therefore can be housed very comfortably in terrariums the size of a work table, making them one of the least space-consumptive organics available on Cybertron.Series

When taking your human between planets, Tower Iacon suggests following these helpful tips:
-Before booking, please ensure that your human meets all medical and quarantine requirements for interplanetary transit.
-When you comm to confirm your ticket, make sure to request the stellar transport company's policy regarding crates for organics.
-for short stellar jumps, withdraw food and water one joor before loading, to reduce the chance that your organic will foul its crate.
-during longer flights, a water dispenser and small feeder tube should be affixed to the crate. Consult your xenoveterinarian regarding optimal fuel mixtures.

Summary
Homo Sapiens domesticus: Primal
Like all class five organics, humans are at least minimally self-aware, but possess no recognizable spark-like energy. In some of the species’ mythological traditions, humans hypothesize that they have a ‘soul’, an immortal but incorporeal essence. Other human mythologies assign similar hypothetical energies to lesser organics, drones, and inanimate objects. To date, no evidence supports these primitive theories.

Summary
Humans, like most organics, are poorly suited to environmental extremes. All humans should be kept in a protective enclosure when not in use, ideally with one or two additional members of their species. Isolation can lead to erratic functioning, and it is inadvisable to allow humans to roam freely, due to environmental hazards and possible organic contamination of living areas.
