Description:

The Stellar Fracture Saga draws inspiration from multiple sci-fi/fantasy settings, like Warhammer 40K, Stellaris, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Star Wars, HP Lovecraft, and even Star Trek.
It takes place in our galaxy, about 700 years in the future after several catastrophes had already hit the galactic community.
Humanity is split between two space-nations: the Empire, a powerful militaristic dictatorship, and the Allied Free Stars, a corporatist democratic republic.
Both are constantly exposed to the corrupt influences of creatures from another dimension, called the Void, but the last war with demonic forces was 300 years earlier, and most people barely care.
The Empire's higher class, the Nobles, are humans who use genetic treatments to change their looks and extend their lives to almost 200 years.
Finally, there are rare men and women who are born with various levels of connection to the Void, called Psionics. They possess psychic powers, like limited telepathy, telekinesis, and enhanced senses.
That connection makes them better at fighting Void creatures, but also more vulnerable to their corrupting influences.
