Summary
Sometimes a dance is just a dance. This is not one of those times.
Buffy Summers meant to get to Homecoming on time, she really did, but there was unscheduled slayage and now her dress is a mess and her skin is going to take three showers to be of the clean. Fortunately, her date seems determined to make up for her crappy night.
Did we forget to mention who her date to Homecoming was?

Summary
Buffy was having a nice, normal night of patrol. Boring, actually. Then Faith suggested they swing by the docks, and things got... interesting.
She'd never look at sleeping bags the same way again.

Summary
Buffy's worried about the SAT's. She doesn't want to be a bag lady, for one thing. Faith is bored with patrol, and bored with complaining. They're in a graveyard, late at night, with nobody around and nothing to entertain them but an SAT study book.
Apparently, positive reinforcement really does improve study performance. For a given value of study.

Having talked Angel down from the terminal suntan (with, admittedly, a little help from the weather), Buffy finally makes it back home to find Faith waiting on her bed. Glaring.
They must teach Advanced Guilt Trips in every Boston public school.

Sometimes you get a second chance to save the person you love. Sometimes you don't.
This isn't a story about salvation.

Summary
"Into every generation she is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer." Simple formula, simple idea. One girl, lots of evil, occasional prophetic dreams.
Nobody ever planned on two of them, much less that they'd be at each other's throats. Or that those dreams might just get a little more complicated with two dreamers. Faith Lehane may be coma-bound, but that doesn't mean she and Buffy Summers are finished with each other. Far from it.

Summary
"Valley State Prison for Women was not happy fun times."
"Violence was not a very good birthday celebration--well, except that Faith seemed to like violence quite a bit, really, though maybe that was an even better reason, since she was supposed to be rehabbing."
Buffy visits Faith in prison. Awkward conversation, unresolved tensions and hilarity ensue.

Summary
Two years after graduating from high school, Buffy Summers dies saving the world. One hundred and forty-seven days later, her friends drag her back out of the grave. It's a miracle and a tragedy, and this story isn't about that.
Not really.
Faith Lehane felt Buffy Summers die, and now she has to live with the absence of the other side of her self. This is her story.

Summary
The world didn't (quite) end, and the world changed. There's a new order of things, a new day dawning... a general theme of newness, in fact, but some people are still living with history. Buffy Summers and Faith Lehane are two of them.
Three times in three weeks after the world didn't end, three wake-up calls shake things up.

Summary
Seven years in Sunnydale, thirteen apocalypses, turning on the Slayer mo-jo in all the Potentials, watching Sunnydale and its Hellmouth get wiped off the map, surviving all the wounds and heartbreak...
Buffy needed a vacation. A long, long vacation.
Eighteen months of travel, shopping, and having no responsibilities in particular were exactly what she needed. Now, rejuvenated back into a real girl, she's heading back to her friends and her job.
Nobody told her about the shiny office building, the hundreds of Slayers, or the piles and piles of money the Watcher's Council had, uh, bequeathed them.
There may also have been a few other things they forgot to mention...

Summary
After settling in to her new home, Buffy's getting paranoid. Everyone's been focusing on finding and training Slayers, and no big bads have emerged--things are too quiet.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.
On the other hand, she's glad to be back in the game--really glad. Faith was right all those years ago, and she's okay with that now. They both are.
Which is a good thing, since they're about to confront an enemy that would otherwise shake them to the core.

Summary
Workplace relationships aren't exactly the easiest thing in the world for anyone, but managing a maybe-on-again love affair with your second in command when you're the general of an army of Slayers and the next thing to a living legend is a whole other ballgame of difficult. When you add dealing with freaky cults, a magic suit of armor with a straight line to your id and enough vampires and rogue, murderous Slayers to open a traveling circus, things get even more lively.
Buffy Summers is starting to think that maybe life in London might not be that much simpler than life in Sunnydale. Still, at least the job includes benefits and travel.
