“Listen, Charlie, we’ve been besties for a long time-” Charlie didn’t think her eyebrows could lift any higher. “Friends?” He winced at her unchanging expression. There was a cheer from the yard, as Edward presumably entered the backyard. "Acquaintances?” He tried and Charlie finally nodded, “Okay… long-time acquaintances. Whatever. Anyway, I just wanted to ask a friendly favour...”
Charlotte Henderson was just trying to get out of town.
All she wanted was to make music, and keep her brother happy - too bad nothing good ever happens in Hawkins.
