    This is wonderful. It's just how I would imagine the happiest possible ending from the film playing out -- never remotely Hollywood happy, plenty of reality and bureaucracy getting in the way. I loved the details of the characters' past Christmases, the newspapers, and the moments of joy they find in spite of it all.
