Welcome to the Henneth Annûn Story Archive Collection! HASA is open to new works of any genre or rating and with any combination of main characters within the JRRT fandom, except within the following categories: Lists, Mystery Science Theater (MST), and Real Person Stories (RPS). We do accept critical essays about JRRT's works and about JRRT oriented fan fiction.
The import of this archive to the AO3 was approved by the OTW Open Doors Committee on 21 January 2015, and imported in February 2015. The Henneth Annun Research Center, which includes short descriptions of Timeline Events, Characters, Places and Things, is still available at www.henneth-annun.net.
Due to the semi-automated process of the importing process there may be some glitches in tags, duplication, and chapter order which may take some time for authors or volunteers to clean up.
A note on tags specific to HASA: The program at the original hosting allowed for reader-supplied tags, as a way to recommend a story to other readers. Tags beginning with words such as "Canon- ", "Characters- ", "Plot- ", "Writing- ", etc., are examples of this type of tag.
About Henneth Annûn Story Archive (hasa)
This collection contains works originally located at www.henneth-annun.net, which were imported to the Archive of Our Own by the HASA Transition Team through the Open Doors Project. You can learn more about the import in the import announcement.
If you still have access to the email you used to post your works to HASA, you should have received an email with the option to claim your works at the time they were imported. If you do not have access to that email account, or did not receive the notification, please contact the moderator at the contact email address listed above.
All unclaimed stories are imported as restricted to logged-in AO3 users only, and will be made publicly viewable after a 90-day transition period. If you claimed your works before that period ended, you will need to change the restriction setting.
For questions about using the AO3, please contact Support. For questions about submitting works to HASA, please contact the current moderator at the contact e-mail address listed above.
We allow almost any type or genre of writing, as long as it is primarily concerned with the JRRT fantasy universe. We accept poetry, research articles and critical essays as well as the more usual fiction. All rating levels of stories are accepted, and stories are flagged as General or Adult depending upon content. Lists, Mystery Science Theater (MST), and Real Person Stories (RPS) are the only types we categorically will not accept.
