Intro:

Drabble Match Fund: As we did in year three we are running this challenge as a fundraiser with a drabble match fund. This year's funds will be donated to the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS). So far we have a total pledge of $2/drabble or artwork posted to the collection. If you are interested in contributing to the drabble match fund please email the collection moderator at feministlibrarian@gmail.com.

PROMPTS:

This year’s prompts were inspired by the Saint’s Days / Feast Days of the Western, Christian calendar. The prompt suggestions were picked based on the associated Wikipedia entry. Feel free to interpret the prompts liberally, and the lists are options, not all required! The Wikipedia page for each entry is also linked below if you want further inspiration.

We are trying something new this year and providing the prompts all at once for those who like to plan ahead. Have fun and participate at any level -- whether that’s all fourteen days or just one drabble or sketch!

Rules:

1. All fic entries should be short (100 words is, strictly speaking, the length of a drabble...you may hold yourself to that or just keep it brief).
2. All art should be a single image.
3. You may post multiple prompt fills per prompt; you do not have to post fills for every prompt. Participate at any level that works for you
4. Entries should be in response to / inspired by the day's prompt however directly, loosely, or subversively you wish to draw the connection.
5. In order to count toward the drabble match donation, works must be posted between 9:00am EST (UST -5) on 24 December 2018 and 9:00pm EST (UST -5) on 6 January 2019. The collection will be open for new works only during this window of time.
6. If you choose to publish your prompt fills, or some of your prompt fills as chapters in a single work, each chapter will count as an independent submission for the purposes of the match fund.
7. There aren't really any other rules -- thanks for joining us!
