NEW THIS YEAR: We used this drabble challenge as an opportunity to raise money for hurricane recovery in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Read our introduction to learn more.

NEW THIS YEAR!
PART TWO: DRABBLE MATCH FUND For every drabble/artwork posted to the TwelvetideDrabbles2017 challenge between Dec 24 - Jan 6 the challenge curator (elizajane) will donate $1.00 to USVI Recovery, up to 144 drabbles/artworks.
UPDATE: A second donor (Smackofjellyfish) has come forward to pledge $1.00/drabble! Each drabble or artwork added to the challenge will now mean a total of $2.00 in donations to USVI and PuertoRico recovery.
UPDATE TWO: The challenge is now closed! A total of ten writers contributed seventy-seven drabbles across twenty-three fandoms for a total of $154.00 raised for Puerto Rico and USVI recovery! Thank you all for your hard work and we will look forward to offering matching funds in for Twelvetide Drabbles 2018. Stay tuned at the Twelvetide Tumblr blog for updates.

Rules:
1. All fic entries should be short (100 words is, strictly speaking, the length of a drabble...you may hold yourself to that or just keep it brief).
2. All art should be a single image.
3. Entries should be in response to / inspired by the day's prompt (TBA) however directly, loosely, or subversively you wish to draw the connection.
4. **NEW THIS YEAR** In order to count toward the drabble match works must be posted between 0:01 (UST -5) on 24 December 2017 and 23:59 (UST -5) on 6 January 2018.
