Summary
Castiel and Dean meet for the first time on a plane ride out of Nowhere, Alaska. Castiel’s headed home after an impulsive solo vacation and Dean, a hardened Alaskan native, is just trying to get out of the impossibly small town he grew up in that’s got nothing left to offer him. They forge an instant connection over Dean’s flying anxiety and whiskey, a meet-cute that has all the makings of a rom-com with a sickeningly sweet happy ending. That is, until their plane explodes in mid-air, crashing headlong into the Alaskan wilderness and killing everyone on board save for Dean and Castiel. When no rescue shows up to save them, the two men are forced to make some tough decisions. To make it home alive they’ll have to trust each other and find faith neither of them has ever really wanted. Will they survive or succumb to the unforgiving mountain wilderness? And will their journey tear them apart... or bring them closer together?

“We've got some lotion that might help your hand,” Castiel offers. “Though I want you to see our doctor as well, Dean.”
The hunter feels himself stiffen and scowls at the man in front of him. “A doctor? I don't need -”
“I beg to differ,” Castiel cuts in, totally unapologetic. “You came into contact with unknown substances. We should check it out. Just in case.”
Dean snorts. “You're not actually my boss, Cas.”
Castiel's expression turns dangerously stern. “I know that very well, Dean. However, within these walls I have a certain authority and you'd be wise not to defy me.”
Dean refuses to shiver in a not entirely unpleasant manner and scolds his own traitorous body for enjoying this.

(As a hunter Dean is, quite begrudgingly, forced to work with the Man of Letters Castiel and he does absolutely not feel some very weird things when he's close to the guy with the piercing blue eyes, the messy hair and the tasteless sweater vests.
He does not!)

Summary
After a particularly harrowing near-miss in the library, Sam, Cas, and Dean have finally managed to figure out how to fully ward the bunker against angels. Now the feathered dickheads cannot poof in or out. That shouldn’t be a big deal, since Cas can just appear right outside the door and then walk in, or leave the bunker and do what Sam resolutely insists on calling “disapparating,” because he’s a fucking nerd.
Nobody accounted for the eight feet of snow.

Summary
Dean’s favourite coffee shop, The Graveyard Shift, is only open after the sun goes down. Which is perfect for him, because that’s exactly when he craves coffee the most while doing the overnight at the fire hall. The coffee shop’s owner is pretty perfect too, but it’s kind of a bummer that Dean never gets to see Cas during the day. In a world where the supernatural live more or less in peace with the rest of humanity, it’s a little impolite to ask Cas just what he really is - or what his dark past entails.

Summary
Castiel Novak is the lead singer of Dean Winchester's favorite rock and roll band "The Angels"
Dean is just a nerdy IT guy. Obviously he doesn't stand a chance with Castiel.
Well at least not until his best friend Charlie enters his name in the "Date With an Angel" contest and he actually wins.
This is the story of two men who are brought together by fate. In each other they find the strength to overcome their dark past of forced prostitution and rape, and to stand up for what they believe in; to stand up for love. -

Summary
“They say you’re lucky if you find a love that lasts a lifetime. I’ll be lucky if I find it at all. True love doesn’t exist. Not in my experience.” - Dean Winchester
“They say bad times never last. There’s always a calm after the storm, but I’ve yet to reach the calm. I’m starting to think it got lost on the way.” - Castiel Novak
Then...
Everything you thought you knew for certain...changes.
Cas is back in Lawrence after years of absence, stirring up memories in Dean that had been long ago stolen by a disastrous accident. Dean doesn’t remember anything about Cas, but Cas will never forget what happened; what Dean did to him, and he hates him for it.
But when Dean starts to remember, he starts falling apart, and Cas can’t help but see the man through his perception of him. The man he forced himself to forget. The man he loved.
Can their love break through the boundaries of time and tragedy? Or will their demons swallow them alive?
Will the friction light a spark? Or will it smoke out?
Maybe it’ll all go up in flames.

Summary
Twenty-three years of head-over-heels, devastating devotion and love, love, love for the man with bright eyes and dark hair. Fourteen years of friends, best friends, of always together. One moment of rejection.
Nine years of apart. Nine years of heartbreak, nine years of continents away, of not speaking, of no acknowledgement, no interaction, no closure, no peace. No happiness. Nine years of Dean’s life entering motions, going through them, constant, cold and mechanic, like clockwork. Nine years of alone.
God. Nine years. A lot has changed. And yet Dean still loves Cas just the same. Even if his heart hurts all kinds of different.
On the day of Jimmy Novak's funeral, Dean sees Cas for the first time in nine years. He adored Castiel the moment he met him, at only four years old. But after fourteen years of friendship destroyed by one moment of heartbreak, and after nine years of silence, Dean is convinced Cas will want nothing to do with him. And it's killing him.

“I told you not to touch that! Why don’t you ever fucking listen to me?”
Sam’s booming voice is so painfully loud that Dean actually has to slap his hands over his ears, craning his neck to look up at his brother.
Way up.
Way, way up.
Like…miles up.

Summary
Sam was going to be out of the bunker for a few days and called Cas home to ensure Dean wouldn't be snowed in alone. The pair got to spend a quality night together where they gorged themselves on snacks, watched Dean's favorite movie, and oh yeah Cas accidentally recreated the northern lights. Dean was very impressed.

Summary
They are semi-retired, no assassinations attempts, no angelic or demonic possessions in a while. But Dean is still gloomy and he’s also still not asking Cas out, and Sam’s just had it. He could try to talk some sense into Dean of course, but that’s never worked all that well. So instead, he does something drastic: He nominates Dean for the fabled Queer Eye makeover. Needless to say that the Fab 5 have their work cut out for them.

Summary
“Am I going to regret this?” Cas asked from the passenger seat.
They’d just pulled up outside Dean’s grandmother’s house, a tidy Craftsman bungalow painted a cheerful yellow. It didn’t look threatening; there was a porch swing with crocheted cushions and a cement statue of a goose on the porch. The goose was wearing a rain slicker and hat the same color as the house.
In this fic: fake dating, bed-sharing, the doting grandmother Dean Winchester never had, a cement goose with a wardrobe, a contemptuous cat, and a lot of sexual tension that's unresolved until it isn't.

Summary
Funny how you can live in a neighborhood and not know your neighbors, the people who share the same roads, airspace, and hornet problems, the people you see every day. Castiel’s neighbors don’t really know him and haven’t tried to, which is just how he needs it to be to stay safe and alive. His new neighbor, though, throws a wrench into his foolproof plan — Dean Winchester, eternally cheerful, trusting, and handsome, wants to know him, wants to be close to him, wants to be more with him. Castiel is afraid… but when he’s with him, he feels safe and alive in a whole new way that seems more important and worthy than simply existing. But for Dean to really know him, he has to know Castiel’s past. Can Castiel open himself up? Will Dean stay once he knows?

Summary
It's a few weeks before Christmas, and all seems relatively quiet in the bunker. Sam is preoccupied with kitten videos on youtube, and Dean and Cas have been tap dancing around each other with a slightly more holly-jolly theme. As Dean teaches Cas the true meaning of Christmas pie, Sam finds them a case just brimming with holiday cheer-- a ghost with his own highly individual style who doesn't deal well with critics. Let's watch as they all learn their lessons, with fondly exasperated commentary from a slightly frazzled narrator who shares your pine-scented pain.

Just four ingredients is all they need to reopen the rift. Archangel grace, the Seal of Solomon, blood of a most holy man, and a fruit from the tree of life.
Castiel returns from Syria with the fruit, saying that he killed some djinn and bargained with the rest. But just what bargain did Cas make with the djinni queen? What did he experience at her hands?
Heaven's great leader of armies prides himself on his self-control, his steadfast courage under pressure. But when the djinni's dream is everything he's ever hoped for...

Summary
Castiel doesn’t do one-night stands. Once he hit forty, he figured his time was up, his life had pretty much come to a halt, and there was nobody out there for him. He lives in a cute little village, riding his bicycle between his vet clinic and his cottage; that’s his world, and he’s given up on expanding it. But in one last, desperate attempt to find someone, he contacts Rowena, the local witch, and asks her to summon his soulmate. Rowena brings a storm. The storm washes up a trio of ducklings, huddled for shelter inside the rainboots of the new-to-town kindergarten teacher (and retired motorcycle daredevil), Dean Winchester. Ducklings in hand, Dean seeks out Castiel’s veterinary expertise. Somehow, in a flustered, spontaneous burst of attraction, they spend the night together. And just like that, Castiel’s life starts again. With every passing week they become better friends, sharing deeper intimacies, caring for their duck babies as well as each other. But staying together requires taking risks which neither of them planned for. Dean’s risk puts him in extreme physical jeopardy. And Cas? He has to overcome fifteen years of emotional hurt, just to follow where Dean leads.

Summary
It's been months since Michael unexpectedly let Dean go, but he's still dealing with the mental and physical repercussions, some of which have turned out to be permanent. He’s had to adjust how to deal with hunts and that he likely won’t ever be at 100% again. On the upside, he and Cas are close now in a way that he’d never dared hope for, have made it clear how they feel for each other. Dean's greedy for every bit of affection they share, helplessly wanting more but unsure if Cas wants the same. Dean’s family got him back and he's got them, but they’re all dealing with their own respective issues and hang-ups, and when they - Cas, Dean, Sam, Eileen, and Jack - embark on a case of missing homeless people in San Diego, it all comes bubbling to the surface.
This case fic follows Dean and Cas as they develop their relationship and establish intimacy, and while there's angst, the story is focused on healing and closeness, and there's a happy ending.
