Welcome to the Power Rangers anniversary fest! To celebrate the birthday of our ridiculous show, we're giving each other presents. You write your assigned giftee a 500+ word ficlet and someone will write you one in return. This and all future rounds of PR Day will run in the summer with the collection going live on August 28th, the anniversary of the MMPR premiere.

We're celebrating both the friendship the Rangers have with each other and the friends we've made through fandom, so while you're free to include background romance if your recipient indicates that's welcome, the focus of your story must be friendship oriented.

The schedule for 2015 is as follows: Signups close July 11th. Assignments will be sent out by July 13th. Stories will be due August 22nd, and the collection will open August 28th.

Borrowed with love from Alpha's Magical Fic Exchange.

Which seasons of Power Rangers is this open to?

All of them!

Does that include Super Sentai?

No, just the currently aired seasons of Power Rangers.

I haven't seen all the seasons, can I still sign up?

Of course! You only have to offer the seasons you've seen, and if you haven't seen anything after MMPR or haven't seen anything except Samurai, we'll still find a match for you.

1. You can make three or four requests. Please leave a prompt for your writer, even if it's just one word.

2. If your recipient indicates that background romance is okay, you're totally free to include some, but you're not obligated to do so and the focus of your story should be friendship.

3. Minimum word count is 500.

4. You don't have to follow your recipient's prompt to the letter, but please keep the spirit of their request in mind.
