Summary
It begins at an award show. Dean Winchester is a well-known actor, standing before a crowd with Charlie at his side. The world looks at him and sees someone that has everything. The fame, the fortune, the life. They don't see the loss or what he refuses to tell. Then Charlie, his manager, sets up an interview with a journalist that seems to know how to get at the truth. It seems to take no time before Dean is sharing more than he intended, and Benny is ready to capture it all on camera. Because some stories just must be told.

Dean spends all his time being desired by others -- makes his living that way -- but being lusted after isn’t the same thing as being wanted, and he’s never felt wanted. Which is why he ends up answering an email that starts with “Dear sir, I hope this letter doesn’t offend you…” and ends with “You will be compensated generously for your time. Sincerely, Castiel Novak.”
The email says Castiel is looking for “the boyfriend experience,” as they call it in Dean’s profession. He wants a live-in, someone to hold him at night, someone to make him dinner and greet him after a long day of work with a smile, someone to play pretend with.

But one day, while helping Bobby clear out his attic, he unleashes a Japanese creature called a baku and a curse on himself. With the help of his bird-buddy Castiel and his fox-friend Gabriel, Dean has to either recapture or kill the baku before she strips dreams from humanity and unleashes Japanese chaos.

ABOUT THE NON-CON: there is sexual assault (non-penetrative, in fact neither party removes a single item of clothing...but it's still definitely a non-consensual sexual encounter), physical assault, emotional abuse and psychological manipulation in this story. The chapter in question is labeled, there are notes within text warning the reader where the assault is, and I provide a synopsis at the end of the chapter (and repeat it at the beginning of the next) if you wish to skip that part.
