Summary
What Arthur knows: Merlin, his clumsy and foolish servant, is actually quite smart. He’s also loyal, and brave, and in many ways the reason Arthur has so many good people in his life.
The goal: Make Merlin realize how important he is to Arthur, no matter how stubborn he's clearly chosing to be about it.
What Arthur does not know, yet: Merlin has magic. Also they're very slightly a little bit in love.
It's going to take them a while to figure it all out. Meanwhile the knights have known for ages, Gwen figures it out pretty quick, and pretty much all of Camelot has also known ever since that weird peasant stumbled through the gates and challenged the Prince all those years ago.

Summary
Arthur survives the battle of Camlann but discovers that Merlin is a sorcerer when Merlin kills Morgana to save Arthur’s life. Feeling angry and betrayed, Arthur banishes Merlin.
Five years later, in a war-torn Camelot, Arthur is finally ready to talk to Merlin, and they realize that they can only fulfill the prophecy together, side by side.
The next morning, they wake up in the past, in their young bodies.
~
“Someone or something has sent us back in time, right to the beginning, with all our memories,” Merlin says, and it’s only now that it dawns on him what that truly means. “Just imagine everything we could do, everything we could change for the better. We could make everything right this time.”
Arthur hesitates for a moment. “Can we even change the future?”
“Yes, I think we can”, Merlin answers with confidence and new-found hope in his voice.

Summary
Two years after losing Merlin to the Dorocha, Arthur finally repeals the ban on magic. It should be relatively plain sailing from there, except that it's not: his people still regard magic with distrust, no sorcerer would come forward, and Arthur finds himself unable to appoint a Court Sorcerer. With the councillors breathing down Arthur's neck and the eyes of the magical community watching him, he seeks out the Druids beyond the Ridge of Ascetir, led by a powerful sorcerer named Emrys.

Summary
"How was your journey here?" Balinor asked.
“It would have been pleasant if a certain servant had stopped prattling on during the entirety of it.“ Arthur gave the black haired boy a pointed look, but the servant just shrugged and turned to Balinor.
„Don‘t mind him. He woke up at the wrong side of the bed today, which wasn‘t my fault, may I add. I‘m Merlin.“
And then he stuck out his hand, oblivious to the way Arthur‘s mouth dropped openOr, during the Great Purge, Balinor can convince Uther not to kill all dragons. Instead, Uther magically imprisons him and the remaining dragons at the Dragon's Keep. Now, almost twenty years later, prince Arthur regualary comes to check on him. Things change, when he brings a certain manservant with him.

Summary
They were only setting up camp, or better, he was. Alone. Because apparently knights of Camelot were too above crouching down to set a handful of bedrolls on the uneven, humid, cold ground.
Honestly, Merlin wasn't sure why he even bothered anymore. Maybe old habits die hard. The King sure didn't seem excited about it. Not that anything Merlin did recently got him excited anymore.
"Merlin, tone it down." Arthur said, exasperation clear in his voice.
"Tone what down, sire?"
"Your…" Arthur gesticulated aggressively with his hands, "magic."

Summary
"Having been near you all these years, I am not unaware of the goings on of court, or the way you nobles like to do things.” He gives a half smile at that but doesn’t convince himself of his own humor, “I also know… that when a new king comes to power, he inherits his predecessor’s information network. His spies.”
Arthur leans back, folding his arms and narrowing his eyes, “That’s true, Merlin. I’ve been expecting whomever my father’s last spymaster was to come to me for days now. Do you know who it is?”
Don’t fidget. Don’t shift your weight. Goddess take you, Merlin, stand still. He clears his throat, “It was Gaius for a long time.”
The young king relaxes an imperceptible amount, and nods, “He’d have access to everyone, from villager to noble, and friendly relationships with most. Who is it now?”
Merlin stares at him, then spreads his palms helplessly, “Me.”
Merlin is Camelot’s spymaster and must reveal himself as such to Arthur when he becomes king.

Summary
Stuck in a small town that would rather see him paired to a commanding alpha than reading novels, Merlin deals with judgmental neighbors while Gaius works on his elixirs in hopes of providing the omega a better life. When the physician leaves for an annual trip and comes up missing, Merlin makes it his mission to save his guardian only to find himself facing a lifelong sentence. However, it’ll take more than an ill-tempered master and dark curse to keep this omega from breaking, especially when he finds himself feeling freer than ever before.

Summary
In which Merlin's secret is revealed in an unexpected way, Arthur learns the 'legends' are true and a lot of things come to light.
Cross-posted from Fanfiction.net (but rewritten)Note:
I've marked this as Gen because the Merlin/Freya is really not the focus of the story.
But as some people really don't like the pairing (and some do) I felt it better to tag so they had a heads up. -

Summary
“I would’ve thought you knew that I would never hurt you, Merlin, but I suppose I was wrong. When we return, you are relieved from your duties as my manservant for the time being.”
“Arthur, please, I—”
“Shut up, Merlin!” Arthur had shouted, the anger Merlin had expected finally bursting out of him. “I can hardly stand to look at you without losing my temper! Just— I need some space. To … think.”—
In the wake of Merlin's magic being revealed, both Arthur and Merlin fall into patterns that threaten to undo them.
Or: Arthur is touch-starved, Merlin is just starving.

Summary
Arthur is confused, very upset, and nothing is alright anymore, thank you very much.
Because you see, despite the image that he tries to present—emphasis on the word ‘try’, there, according to his knights—he does care an awful lot about his people, especially his one particular person that happens to be able to say an awful lot without saying anything.
Merlin. He’s talking about Merlin, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Summary
"Only the person Merlin loves most can wake him." The girl took on the air of someone who held the upper hand over their adversaries. "Only a kiss from the person he desires most can break the curse."
"Why?" Mordred questioned, "Why lay such a curse on him and offer the chance of a cure?"
But Arthur knew the answer even as she said it. "Merlin desires no one. It isn't within his capability to."

Summary
"“Emrys,” said Gaius, raising the Eyebrow of Disappointment and flicking his gaze to where Merlin stood behind Arthur’s chair. “That is who you wish to have as your court sorcerer.”
Arthur nodded gravely, every eye in the council meeting upon him. “Camelot is dangerously close to division even now that sorcery is legal. We need someone who will unite us all, and I cannot settle for less. I’ll send riders out at first light chasing rumours and follow up any promising leads we have myself.”
He looked so beautiful when he said it, every inch the king, with the sunlight through the windows turning him gold. His voice had taken on that richness that sometimes infused Arthur’s words – that for the good of the kingdom voice, that let it be so voice, the voice that Merlin had come to understand meant another brick laid on the road to Albion.
Unfortunately, that voice had been co-opted for a fucking farce."
Or - In which magic is legal and Merlin is still lying for reasons that are absolutely, totally 100% valid and have nothing to do with his love for Arthur

Summary
Five years had passed since Arthur had become King, and three since the magic ban had been repealed.
Merlin had left Camelot soon after, convinced that his work here was done and he wasn't needed anymore, to live a life of solitude and mystery as Emrys.
But when a ball is held at Camelot to celebrate the first steps to the forming of Albion, an invitation finds its way to Emrys, and with it, a way for Merlin to find closure. Would he leave everything be as he left it three years ago, or would he take the chance to move on with his life?
