Summary
Upon arriving at the train station of death, an impure soul is granted a second chance at life against his will. Reincarnating into the body of Kageyama Tobio, a 15-year-old boy who recently committed suicide. Tobio's soul will depart at death and the soul needs to slip in to replace it. If the soul's reformation succeeds, he’ll reenter the cycle of rebirth and regain the right to be reborn. He will have three months to accomplish this task.
“Even though you had enough of life,” the soul whispered into the void of the room, “you were still afraid to hurt your hands, Tobio.”

Tobio had been alone for most of his 29 years. That didn’t make this weekend any easier.
Not that he spent every day with Shouyou. More like… every other day. Sometimes two days in a row. And if Charlie was gone for the weekend? Every day.
So, most days.
But this, this was different. This was a whole four days and three nights alone after not being alone for eight months.
Why was he alone, here at the end of April, phone sitting on the counter next to him at work, waiting for Shouyou to send him a message? His boyfriend was at a conference. Because he was the best teacher at his school, Tobio assumed, they’d rewarded him by sending him to Palm Springs to learn about how to incorporate more technology into the classroom. “Ushiwaka,” he responds flatly. Turning back around, he scours the waiting area for Iwaizumi, who he’s meeting for dinner.
“How have you been?” Ushijima Wakatoshi takes a step closer, intent on conversing with him.
“Fine,” Oikawa responds dismissively. He crosses his arms and continues to look anywhere but at Ushijima. He has spent the better part of a decade avoiding this man and no desire to speak to him. His mood is bad enough already.
After high school, Ushiwaka lost track of Oikawa, his rival and crush. He finds him again by accident in Tokyo years later; already in a relationship with Oikawa's longtime crush and rival, Kageyama, but doesn't let that stop his pursuit of Oikawa. This story explores the unstable relationship between two men who've always loved each other and the man on the outside who wants to steal the man of his dreams, no matter how unrealistic and toxic it may end up.

I absolutely love the author's style -- one of my favorites -- definitely one of the bests
Absolutely love the portrayal of both Tsukishima and Kageyama in all their works
And its like a -- Classical Music and Detective AU, Murder Mystery
And aren't those one of my favorite categoriesAnd the romantic dynamic is so sooo heart wrenching bcz its so painfully simple and beautiful
