There are things that confuse Hizashi, like there are things that confuse his friends, his classmates, and everyone else. They’re different things; for Hizashi, he doesn’t quite get math, or why Aizawa has bags the size of his fists despite always napping, and he doesn’t get why villains feel the need to do what they do, not when they could just not.
Some things he just accepts. Some he puts away until they come back to the front of his head, and some— some he can actually do something about. It’s why he’s trying to be a hero, after all.
Then there’s some things he just doesn’t get. Doesn’t know how to even start understanding them.
Maybe this is one of them.

"What the fuck…."
Yes, those were definitely syringes and a few tiny bottles of something clear and viscous in Hawks' drawer.
He picked one up and peered at it, squinting at the tiny text on the label.
Testosterone cypionate injection….the fuck is this?
"Hawks, why do you have needles in your kitchen?" He called over his shoulder.
His heart barely had time to stutter a beat before Hawks appeared in front of him.

Sano’s eyes are kind and gentle when she asks the question, but the words get caught in Kyouka’s throat when they open their mouth. Fear floods back in and, for a moment, it feels as if they’ve been transported back in time - fourteen and so confused, sixteen and an outcast in their mind, seventeen and terrified of rejection.
Kyouka swallows it down. They discovered that they weren’t alone then, and they definitely aren’t now. They have to set the example for kids facing similar issues - show them what bravery looks like, what they can achieve if they set their mind to it.
A moment of silence has passed during Kyouka’s internal struggle. Sano’s smile is patient and encouraging when Kyouka manages to look back up at her, and she tries again.
“Is there a reason Amplify’s message is important to you, Earphone Jack?”
In which Kyouka deals with the aftermath of coming out as nonbinary, and all of the consequences and feelings that come with sharing something very private about themself very publicly.

Tiger came back with two tea cups, sitting down by his side. He offered one to the kid, who let out a quiet 'thanks' as he brought it to his chest, his eyes fixed to the floor.
"It's hard." The hero said, matter-of-factly, waiting for Bakugou to acknowledge him.
"What do you mean?" He kept his gaze averted.
"The backlash, especially from people close to you, like your family." Katsuki scoffed, still looking away.
"Don't need the permission or approval of some extras anyways. The only person I need is myself." He was putting up a front, falling into his overly confident attitude.
"We all need other people, Bakugou."
