Todoroki Shouto is always the last to admit that he needs help, recieving it only in a moment before freezing. When some student from Class C aids him against his father, he is immediately taken aback by the way this boy stands up for him in a way nobody else does.
News of a returning vigilante four years after their disappearance draws newly turned Pro Hero Todoroki Shouto onto a massive mission.

According to his mentor, Hitoshi’s assignment for that week is 'to establish connections with the first year students from the Hero Course.’ Which is just Aizawa-speak for him to make friends with his new classmates.
In all honesty, it’s supposed to be a simple task. No task could possibly be much simpler than hanging out with people his age. He’s successfully invited people and got the show moving along, before it turns out that agreeing upon a place to spend their time in is, well, not so simple.
Especially when they, like him, have faced similar prejudices based on their quirks. And they, like him, have places they would rather avoid.

Quirkless Izuku never went to UA and never became a hero.
After graduating from a mediocre high school he ends up moving to Fukuoka where he has a crappy job and his apartment is even worse but it does happen to be right under one of Hawks’ favorite flight paths to and from his agency so he gets to see the hero fly overhead at least once a day.
Then one day a villain fight occurs and he ends up rescuing one of Hawks’ sidekicks, The Jet Black Hero, helping him take down a villain.(I don't stick to the prompt exactly but I sure am having fun :D)

He wants to wave the younger hero off, assure him that it’s fine, but for some reason his heart is jackrabbiting against his ribcage and something is poking and tugging at the edge of his thoughts, insisting that ‘this is wrong.’“Yagi?” Aizawa has evidently taken several steps towards him, and he hadn’t even noticed, “Are you alright?”
Toshinori tries to assure his colleague that he’s fine, he’d just been caught off guard, but the words get caught in his throat, and he’s forced to swallow them back. This is… familiar, isn’t it? This has happened before, hasn’t it?

Even if it’s the strongest sense of déjà vu Toshinori has ever experienced, “I… I’m alright, Aizawa. Sorry. I didn’t sleep well, and I think I must have been half-dreaming when you walked in. I suppose my instincts just aren’t what they used to be.”
At that, Aizawa raises a brow and shakes his head, “I don’t know about that. I don’t think I’d trust anyone’s instincts more than yours.”
