Summary
Frank tried to focus on the details of the room, attempting to squint them out in the dark. He didn't want to hear the conversation taking place behind him, nor did he want to know the next part of his "initiation." He was terrified. Changing schools was enough, joining a club was enough. He had never even heard of initiations. He hadn't wanted this.
"Sorry, Frank. Now. Do you swear, in joining this club, to keep all happenings and goings on held in utmost secrecy?"
"Yeah."
"No. Say 'I swear'." Gerard whispered.
"I swear."
