Who cooks normally:

On normal occasions the two will go out to eat at restaurants. They both prefer ones with views but are not opposed to cute little Mom and Pop restaurants as long as they aren’t too crowded. However, Peter picked up STRESS COOKING from his Aunt. When Peter gets into moods where he’s distant and angry he cooks, usually anything with sweet potato products. Around the anniversary for Gwen’s death Peter makes sweet potato pie, cake, quiche, fries, pudding, and even meat loaf.

How often do they fight:

The two like hair pulling, that’s for sure. It never gets nasty though and is usually saturated by a compliment, “Those pants make your ass look big, wear it tomorrow night.” Actual arguments are rare, aside from over protection from both sides. Both feel they are cursed by death and go overboard with making sure their partner is safe. Their worst fight happened Peter refused to stand down from a fight with Venom when the villain had already caused physical and emotional harm to the wall crawler. Clint couldn’t handle the fear of loser Peter any more and fled from New York, the Avengers, and even SHIELD for three weeks. When he came back Clint moved back in immediately and was welcomed with enough sweet potato to last a month.

What do they do when they’re away from each other:

As Peter Parker, Peter catches up with his friends and the latest trends in science. As Spider Man he surveys his old stomping grounds and tends to areas where children are in danger.

Clint practices and enjoys time away from everyone. As Hawkeye he roams the city at night, watching ares likely for high, but sophisticated crime like jewelry store theft.

Both think about the other when they’re apart. Peter doodles and Clint writes songs.

Nicknames for each other:

Peter = Pete, Red Tights, Sweet Ass, Little Spider, Baby Spider, Gangly Limbs, Sweet Potato, Cookies ‘N Cream, Eyelashes, Spider-Ass, yo! Pretty little thing with the tights and the web shooters.

Clint= Sweet Heart, Hawkass, Fingers, Straight Shot, Pretty Eyes, Hot Arms.

Who is more likely to pay for dinner:

Clint because he has more money. Peter hates it. He doesn’t want to take advantage of Clint’s wallet and abhors the thought of easy money because of the circumstances that led to Uncle Ben’s death. Clint understands money, knows what it’s like to be poor, but has more than he knows what to do with so he likes to spoil Peter.

What would they get each other for gifts:

Peter is uncomfortable with expensive gifts but it happy to get magazine subscriptions to scientific magazines or chemistry tools to tinker with. He is also not opposed to hand made ‘free for one back rub’ cards.

Clint has everything he could ever want. He likes gifts that make him laugh so everything from lawn ornaments to bobble heads are great.

Who kissed who first:

Peter, though he tried to play it off before Clint chased after him.

Who made the first move:

Peter again, in the same moment as the kiss. They’d been inching close to each other while star gazing on a rooftop when Peter snapped.

Who remembers things:

It depends on what is being remembered. Clint is good for dates, times, and locations. Peter is good with food allergies, repeating conversations, and personal interests. Peter’s mind gets carried away and on more than one occasion he’s stood Clint up at a restaurant because he was involved with something science or Spider-Man related.

Who started the relationship:

Ever see two rams rush into each other and bounce off at the same distance, only to do it again? That’s these two.

Who cusses more:

Clint by a long shot. During sex, during regular conversations, while watching sports, whenever he catches his foot on pavement. Peter grew up in a home where cursing got you sent to a corner. He’ll say it every now and again but it has to be an intense moment emotionally. Clint grew up in show business where half their nicknames were profanity.

What would they do if the other was hurt:

Clint would be out for blood the moment he assured Peter was safe and being cared for. He doesn’t do well with waiting around for someone to get better. Clint has an intensity about him and a specialized hunting instinct that can not be dissuaded even after Peter is fully recovered. As long as the assailant still lives Clint is hunting.

Peter hates this. It reminds him too much of how he acted after Uncle Ben’s death and how terrible Peter treated the few around him while he focused on revenge. The thought of Clint doing the same makes him sick.

If Clint were the one injured, Peter would spend half his time making sure Clint was okay and the other half tracking down the assailant. It’s impossible for Peter to sleep until either Clint is recovered or the assailant is captured. He knows a clear distinction between justice and vengeance.

For emotional hut Clint sings to Peter and Peter offers full body rubs (which are incredible with the little hairs on Peter’s skin that help him cling to walls).

In the case of death, Peter would be heart broken indefinitely but be able to move on with his life because he is used to the loss of a friend, family member, or lover. He knows Clint wouldn’t want him upset for the rest of his life. Clint loves his smiles.

Clint would recover eventually, since he’s SHIELD agent and trained to death. He would seek purely physical relationships afterward and never allow himself to be emotionally compromised again. Peter was something special. Clint’s heart was molded for him. There’s no point in pretending to be happy without Peter’s smiles to encourage him.
