Part four of lettered's series, "Responsible Science". This one's a de-aging fic. These stories deserve individual recs, in addition to the series recommendation I already have here. This one in particular is my absolute favorite fic of all time. Excellent writing, a very effective narrative structure, and so much wonderful angst. Re-reading this story is a recurring pleasure of mine. lettered is incredible.
