A very well-written AU about the trolls starting their lives as members of the Alternian fleet. Karkat attempts to hide his blood color with the reluctant help of Sollux and Vriska, Feferi plans a revolution, Tavros tries unsuccessfully to control Gamzee's murderous urges, and everyone struggles with quadrant confusion. Meanwhile, the cult of the Sufferer plans an uprising of their own, spurred on by the rebirth of what seems to be their messiah and his followers, and the Her Imperial Condescension plans an invasion of Earth, where Dave, John, and Rose are spending a peaceful summer vacation on Jade's island.
