Sansa sat on her bed crying. Her fingers lightly touched the bruises on her arms before she wiped her tears away. Downstairs she heard the front door click open. Springing into action Sansa slipped beneath her covers and pretended to sleep. It wasn't long before there was the sound of footsteps on the stairs. She pulled the covers to hide her face. Someone knocked on her door. Sansa didn't react. Slowly her door opened. She kept her eyes closed. They moved closer to her. The side of her bed dipped as someone sat down. They pressed their lips to her temple and their beard scratched her forehead.

'I know you're awake.' Robb said.

Sansa opened her eyes but didn't say anything to him. He pulled the covers away from her to reveal her bruised arms. She watched as the anger washed over his face and he clenched his jaw.

'Who did this to you?'

Sansa didn't reply. It didn't matter because Robb knew anyway.

'I don't know why you put up with that little shit, Sansa. When I get my hands on him he'll regret everything he's ever done to you.'

'No, Robb. Please don't. He'll hurt you.'

Robb looked down at her and gently brushed her hair away from her face.

'I just want you safe.'

'I know.' She whispered.

Sansa traced the veins in Robb’s hand with her fingers. He turned his hand upwards and caught her fingers.

‘Just leave him.’

‘I can’t, Robb.’

Feeling a sudden rush of energy, Sansa sat up and looked at him. For a while she wanted to forget everything that was between Joffrey and her. She just wanted to be with Robb. He would never hurt her.

'We should go somewhere.'

'Are you sure?' He asked her.

Sansa nodded before standing up and jumping off her bed.

They met downstairs and Robb slipped his arm around her waist and she leaned towards him, her head resting lightly on his shoulder. He gave her the strength that she needed.

As Robb drove the car one of his hands was curled around Sansa. He continued to glance her anxiously.

'I'm fine.'

They both knew it for the lie that it was but after that Robb stopped looking so worried about her.

They walked into the bar still holding hands. Sansa breathed a sigh of relief. It was the kind of place Joffrey wouldn't even dream of coming. The noise rushed over her and she tossed back a shot. Thoughts of Joffrey and her bruises slipping from her mind.

When Sansa finished another and stumbled away from the bar Robb knew it was time to leave here. He walked towards Sansa and put his hands on her waist to steady her.

'Come on we're leaving.'

She followed Robb out of the bar and towards their car. He opened the door for her.

‘Get in.’

Sansa pouted.

'I don't want to leave.'

Robb began to gently pull her towards the seat.

'Maybe we should dance.' She suggested, her eyes brightening. 'I'll leave once you dance with me.'

'Fine. Once dance and then we leave.' Robb said.

Sansa nodded. A faint smile playing across her lips as she wrapped her arms around Robb's neck.

Sansa narrowed her eyes slightly as she stared at Robb's face. Impulsively she rose up on her toes and pressed her lips to Robb's. She watched as his eyes widened in shock.

Please don't pull away, she thought. I just need to forget.

He relaxed against her. Sansa gently bit Robb's lips. He deepened the kiss and Sansa pressed herself closer to him. Forget about Joffrey. Robb lifted up Sansa’s shirt and pressed his fingers into her pale skin. She pulled away and rested her head on Robb's shoulder, before placing a soft kiss on his neck. In those few minutes she had forgotten about Joffrey and what he had done to her. Tomorrow she would have to face him again and smile. But, it was better knowing Robb would be waiting for her once she was home.

'I think we can leave.'
