from eruthros: which is an adorable story about Jamie and Adam and Scottie not fitting in in their small-town high school, and hanging out together, and because sweet and awesome. Also there's a puppy.
from toft: Teenage!Adam/Teenage!Jamie in high school in rural Indiana. I've already recced this once, but I have to rec it again. This story occupied my head in a major way for nearly a week after I read it; it's a wonderful story about being extraordinary in a small town that doesn't let you, and it's full of yearning and discovery, and this wonderful sense of fresh air coming in as the two of them find each other. You don't need to know anything about Mythbusters to read this, but it's charming if you do, because the author's Adam, particularly, is such a believable teenage Adam. Oh oh oh. I love it. I also love that Scotty and Kari make appearances, and a misfit puppy, and it's about exactly what I love about Mythbusters, deciding to love and be loved just as you are.
