Oh, gosh. You know how some people love Star Trek because it's such an optimistic view of the future? I don't think that about Star Trek, but I do think that about this fic. There's neurodiversity! And disabled people! And people of colour! IN SPACE! I really, genuinely want the future of the human race to look like this. Oh, and in addition to all the wonderful worldbuilding it's a story about Jamie and Adam and how they should be friends because they're good for each other, and it just makes my heart sing.

Abosulutely adorable kid!verse. Adam and Jamie as weird kids, in space. Kari is their teacher, Grant is a shrink. And nobody really gets Jamie and Adam, but that"s ok, because they get each other.
