Radek to the Rescue

Work Text:

Radek stared across the lab table at Rodney, who sat slumped over his keyboard, glaring white bandage wrapped over his forearm. Over his jacket sleeve.

Radek shook his head. "Rodney, you had long day. Take a break."

"I'm close to something here, I can't just stop."

Rodney headed for the coffee pot and refilled his mug before starting a new brew.

"You said that four hours ago. At least go eat something."

Rodney shook his head as he retook his seat.

Radek frowned. A silent McKay was no good news for anyone. So Radek stood and walked around the back of Rodney's chair, grabbing it by the seatback and wheeling him towards the office.

"Hey!"

"Shut up," Radek said, palming the door panel to shut the office door. He pulled Rodney's first aid kit from his desk and opened it, then set to cutting off the bandage over Rodney's jacket sleeve. Rodney didn't protest, even pulled off his jacket without being asked.

Once Radek had affixed a proper bandage to Rodney's arm, he spun the man round in his chair and set to work kneading his shoulders free of their obvious tension.

"Oh, god," Rodney moaned. "Please don't stop."

"I do not plan to," Radek replied. He reached down the front of Rodney's shirt, massaging through the cloth, and Rodney tipped his head back until it met with Radek's belly. A smile creeped over one corner of his mouth. As Radek's hands moved lower, he brushed his stubbled chin over Rodney's upper lip as he bent to kiss him.

"Radek?" Rodney mumbled. "What are you doing?"

Radek smiled. "Helping you relax."

"Um," Rodney said as Radek spun the chair and kissed him again. He didn't protest further, and his smirk returned as Radek straddled his lap.

Radek heard the soft click of the door lock as Rodney's fingers found their way to his hair.
