At age 15 theres nothing you can really do. I mean back in the old days 15 year olds got their permit, whatever that was. Here in Terra Nova you finally got to go outside the gates with a guard. I didn't feel any older, just the same old Callie Ragle. Except now with wavy hair, not bangs. It seemed my parents were always busy. Dad working with Commander Taylor, Mom in the hosptial. I was always stuck with my 11 year old brother, Chris. But today I finally got a day off. I slipped under the 50 ft high fence in my blue bikini and coverup I made out of misquto netting. I was on my way to the waterfall. I discovered the waterfall when I snuck out when I turned 13. It had always been my place to thnk. Today though, it served another purpose. IT was going to help me get away from Chris and the hot Terra Nova heat. I climb a hill and regreated wearing no shoes. All I could feel was the hot rock burrowing into my feet. I was defintly going to moisturize tonight.
I finnaly reached the top of the waterfall and threw my coverup onto the bottom of the tiny pool. Thank God it landed on the bank and not the water. I then went back a few feet, ran, and then jumped into the water. It had to be a 100ft drop. All I felt was the air and then the water soaking my pale skin. It felt good. I came up for air and saw a figure near my coverup. He looked about 6'1 and had sandy brown hair, green eyes, tanish skin, and incredibly musclure body. He gave me a smile. "Nice use of materials." He said refering to my coverup. I got out of the water and really saw how short I was next to him. I was only 5'4. "Ummm, thanks." I replied. He looked familar. "I'm Lucas." He introudeced himself. Lucas exteneded his hand. "Taylor?" I asked confused."The one and only. Let me guess you've heard of me." he guessed. I nodded. "I'm Calle Ragle." I introuced myself.
"Ah, Lt. Ragle's daughter. He speaks highly of you." Lucas said. I nodded. I looked at the drawings on the rocks and then back at him. "You do those?" I asked. "Yes," he said simply. "What are they for?" I asked intreasted. He was extreamly attractive. "My secret project." He stated. I smiled. We stood there for a moment and I put on my coverup. We talked a little more as we headed back to Terra Nova. I saw Commander Taylor and my father run towards us. "Oh no." I groaned. Lucas luaghed. "Where have you been?" my father asked angryly. I bit my lip. "I uh...." I studered. "She followed me out to the waterfall. Its my faughlt. I should have told her to go back." Lucas cut in. My dad and Taylor stared at him. It became akwardly silent. "Oh, just don't do it again. And thanks for bringing her back safly." my dad said. Lucas nodded. "Lucas lets go to my office, now. Perhaps you forgot the rules?" Taylor asked him. Lucas smiled at me. "Nice meeting you Callie." Lucas said.
