Joel lay sprawled on the metal floor. Mike leaned over him. "You okay there, buddy?" he asked. Joel frowned and rubbed his head.
"Look," Joel began. He flinched at the sudden hand that landed on his shoulder, pulling him upright. "I get that you forgot to warn me about the pipe the first million times I hit it." Mike colored slightly. "But this is getting ridiculous."
"Come on," Mike complained. "If it's been a million times you think you'd at least remember that I always forget to remember." The hand tugged him to his feet.
