Summary
Jensen is a discouraged divorce lawyer and unlucky with love. Jared is his new neighbor, a poor business student who is hard up on cash and also extremely handsome. When Jensen loans Jared the money to get out of debt, Jared thinks of a very unconventional way to pay Jensen back. This is a classic “fake” boyfriend story with a few fun twists.

Jared is Jensen next door neighbor, when he accidently lock himself out he goes next door for help. The two start hanging out and get along great but Jared is straight while Jensen admitted to being gay. Jensen realize he is lonely and after a few drinks starts telling Jared who his perfect partner would be. When Jared starts avoiding Jensen he is hurt and confronts Jared, who admits to avoiding Jensen because he is broke. He does have a job but since his mom is sick he and his siblings have been paying the medical bills and he cant afford going out when Jensen asks him and feels guilty because Jensen usually id the one who pays for dinner when they order takeout. Jensen offers Jared money, who refuses at first, but later agrees only if Jensen agrees to be fake boyfriend, the hugging and touching.
