“They keep calling you ‘Ohadi’,” David said as he relieved the downed Longcoats of their weapons. From a distance, they had looked like normal revolvers; now that he was holding one…he couldn’t even begin to describe what was wrong with the gun. It wasn’t a weapon he’d expect to find in a pawn shop back on Earth, that’s for sure.
Colby grunted as he rolled one of the corpses to the edge of a ditch and shoved it over. “It’s ‘Idaho’ spelled backwards. Basic naming convention for slippers from the Otherside. I did some work with a guy who called himself ‘Ahamo’. That’s ‘Omaha’ flipped.”
David rubbed his forehead and scowled. “Let’s just find Don and Charlie and get back to the real world, okay?”
