I love the brand of humour in this fic: it's not of the 'howl with laughter' variety - more dry, snarky and subtle. But the most satisfying thing was seeing an academic!AU which doesn't forget that the characters are supposed to be professors, and you're treated to highly amusing - if somewhat random - debates about religion and philosophy without a trace of pretentiousness. Despite the rating (the 'explicit' tag always gives me pause, especially in slice-of-life settings wherein sappy smut is almost a given), Wager has no porn at all: just a single, brief - and quite giggle-worthy, in its own odd way - scene.
